For the price I can't complain. The owners were attentive, but also respected privacy. For the price I prolly should have gave 5 stars, but honestly, the room could have been cleaner. Imperative things were clean (bed linens, bathroom, towels, etc), but I noticed cobwebs in the corners, stuff like that. But all in all, a decent stay.
The bathroom had "splashes" of something on two walls.
This room was dirty.
The window unit AC was too dirty to turn on.
Clean, very economical. Fairly comfortable beds, but front desk was slow. Limited breakfast, bathroom fan was very loud and old tube TV needed to be updated. I would stay there again though because the price was great.
There was hair on the sheets and towels.
Empty tissue dispenser and broken soap dish hanging on the wall.
Our family of 4 stays at this Rodeway Inn every time we come to visit in the Rutland area. We stay in a room at the front of the property with 3 full size beds, fridge, microwave, tv, and simple decor including a desk and TV hutch/dresser. It is always clean, comfortable, warm and generally quiet considering it is right near the road. The best part is the price (usually between $50-60/night), and the staff is always friendly and professional.
The bathroom had mold all around the tub and door slider tracks.
There was a spider and web above the desk which my husband killed.
I could go on and on.
Though the amenities are simple (the breakfast is no different than the continental breakfast at many more expensive places) the Wi-fi is secure and generally speedy and we have never had a problem or a bad experience. Some of the decor may be a little dated and some of the fixtures may be "well-worn" as other reviewers have noted, but if you are looking for a simple and economical basic roadside motel/inn then you should be satisfied. If not, then perhaps the Hampton Inn or Hilton down the road a ways at triple the price is more in your expectations.
Everything was wonderfully taken care of. I had no problems. The room was very spacious and clean. The ability to have my pet with me encourages me to stay again.
