Talked to the manager, and he gave me nothing but excuses, and told me I should have called 2 days ahead of time.
I just want to say first off that the waitstaff there sucks!! Not only did we stand around last night waiting to be seated for 15 minutes (the place was NOT busy) but then when we were seated it took them another 20 minutes just to bring us menus. Now we had 3 impatient and hungry kids with us.. whom were very vocal about being hungry let me tell you! When she finally came to bring us menus she was very rude. She didn’t even tell us her name. She handed us the menus and expected us to know what we wanted right off the bat. We hadn’t been to Friendlys in years. So we didn’t know what we wanted to order at all. We were NOT impressed with the menu changes at all for starters. We asked her to come back in a few minutes (25 minutes later she came back with our drinks not impressed!! Like I said it was NOT busy at all in the place!!) We ordered out food and as we were ordering the last thing she ran away she didn’t even let us finish ordering.. my boyfriend wanted a side salad but he didn’t even get to tell her because she ran off. So we pushed the little call server button which blinked for a good 20 minutes before she even came back to us to see what we wanted so obviously the call server buttons are USELESS. Very poorly run restaurant. I had ordered the new bacon cheeseburger waffle fries appetizer as a meal.. it came out with a burger literally cut up in chunks on top of the waffle fries not even covered in cheese or anything just laid on top of everything.. it was absolutely disgusting. Made me sick eating it. Seriously made us think about not even paying for dinner and just walking out of the restaurant. We didn’t but we thought about it. We did however not leave a tip at all. And I never do that. But she did not deserve one at all. Not even .02 cents. She was very rude and very unorganized and not focused on her customers at all. It took over 50 minutes just for our food to come out. We were one of 3 families in the restaurant at the time. How can a waitress be so busy when we were the only one she was waiting on? And the appetizer I ordered did not look like it did on the picture as when I got it so that’s either false advertising or they completely screwed up at the restaurant! One completely bad visit to make us never want to come to Friendlys ever again!!!
Food was average.
I just stopped at your restaurant for lunch with a friend and her daughter in a wheel chair .We waited for a while nicely to be seated and the waiterest came out and looked at the three of us and said they did not have a table for is because they only had tables left for 4 and 6 people. What kind of family restaurant is that when you turn people away because you are a family of 3 and one is in a wheelchair. This happen on 11/11/2017 and 2:05 pm.
NOT A PLACE THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND, OR WILL EVER GO TO AGAIN!
The place was empty. Called ahead 2 hrs. And advised I was bring a group of 35. Asked if they could accommodate us, and was told yes. It took over 40 min for the first people to get food, and another 20 min. For the last people to get food.
Waited awhile to be seated. The place was dead at the time. When the food came out we noticed the portion of fries was half of what we usually get. The waitress came up with an excuse. I have not been overly thrilled with our dining experience last couple of visits or the new look in the dinning room. Won't be going back at least for the lunch and dinner times.
It was good food but took a while and I think it made my wife sick
