I have rented many peices of heavy machenry from Toolcraft Rental and Sales over the years. They have a very knowledgeable and polite staff that is allways willing to help you get your job done. I normaly rent exavators but most recently rented a skid steer for the first time and was not completely shure how to operate it. When they dilivered It for a very good price they made shure I knew how to operate It safely and officenty before they left. I have never had a issue with any of the peices of equipment that I have received from Toolcraft. I will definitely go back in the future when I need something to get my job done!

Have rented everything from generators, floor sanders, to a light tower and they always take great care of us. Old school excellent customer service. Seems that they know about most anything with a motor or construction projects!
Completely unorganized, gave them a weeks notice for a rental, and the day I need it they realize it's broken down. I had to call every other hour to get an update on the machine. 6 hours after the renal was supposed to be delivered I had to drive into the shop for them to finally mumble excuses and offer a refund.
No online pricing for rentals. No online inventory for viewing what's available for rent. Tried to get a quote over the phone and they said, "come in and we'll tell you the price." Went in and looked around, asked "how much a day for this machine?" They said, "I dunno, I'll have to get the book." Came back with the book and said "that ones $280 for the day." I said, "great we'll take it." They said, " That ones broken and getting repaired." I said, "why would you show me a machine that's broken?" They said, "cause you asked." I said, "okay, can we see ones that aren't broken?" They said "sure." We settled on a machine, paid in cash and it was delivered. Started her up, 2 minutes in, it shut off. Started it again, 5 minutes in, it shut off. Called them up and said, "Machine isn't running properly". They said "drivers gone but he'll bring you another one in a few hours." Kept working with the machine shutting down every 3-5 minutes. They dropped off a new one, left. Started it up, 20 minutes later the right stick won't work". Meaning it won't turn left being a skid steer. They are closed at this point so I called and left a message. Called the emergency number too but it's just an answering service where the person on the other end said, "I'll relay the message during normal office hours." I asked, "why is this an emergency number then?" He said, "I dunno, I just take messages." Dug by hand with my car lights on till 3am. In the morning I wait 20 minutes after they open to receive a call...none came. So I called instead. The manager offered a full refund I said "I think that's fare." I Ask if I can get a check when they pick it up, they said, "No, you have to talk to the accountant first. I talk to the accountant. She's only authorized to refund 1/3 of our payment until the machine is 'checked'. Annoying, but understandable...what if I'm lying right? So the driver comes with 1/3 a check and I ask if I can video tape him using the machine in my yard to prove it isn't working...he says, "No. I gotta be somewhere at 2." They haul it off and no word yet on the refund. Take that as you will. I'll update this review if we get the other 2/3 of our money back. Until then...personally I'd say rent somewhere else. Out of a 24 rental cost I used the machine(s) 2 hours and 40 minutes. 2 hours and 20 minutes of that time was with a machine that shut off every 3-5 minutes. The giant mess of dirt, grass, and rocks I was unable to clean up with a working machine will make a wonderful eye sore though.
