I had an exhaust leak in the flex pipe of my car. They told me they were going to cut out the old one and weld in a new one, which is the proper way of fixing it. However, they ended up just clamping it back together and it broke relatively soon thereafter, where a proper fix would have lasted 10-15 years with ease. For this I paid $180. The cost to do it correctly would have been in the $250 range.
called corporate & they couldnt care less
This poorly-executed repair also took between 4 and 5 hours to do. Essentially, I was waiting way too long for a job they didn't do how I was told they were going to. They charged me a great deal for the bad fix, almost as much as doing it correctly would have cost me, and it ended up failing relatively quickly. It's safe to say that I won't be going back to Midas.
no congruency on their part
avoid at all costs
was charged $500 for a new fuel pump when one can be bought over the counter for $350
Great service for over 20 years on both my foreign and domestic cars and trucks.. Prices are fair and friendly advice on needed repairs. Free WiFi too!
I've had nothing but great experiences with these guys. They've helped me out of a lot of little self-created problems since I'm one of those who likes to mod and customize my car. They've never tried to upsell me with unnecessary repairs. If anything, they've told me that certain upgrade jobs were unnecessary and I could save some money. My only wish is that they were open on Sunday.
had to bring it back again
Had a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. Made an appointment for 5:30 PM. Got there 10 min early and still had to wait until after 6 PM to get my vehicle in. After I left I noticed my "oil change life" indicator on my GM vehicle had not been re-set which is a nuisance as it's now showing I'm past due for an oil change. Also I thought they would check the air pressure in my tires.....they did not and I found the pressures were way low on two of my tires. Not impressed with the experience.
waited all day
great way to do business, by ripping people off
filed suit with state
